Susanne Dick (1976 in Karlsruhe, Germany) got her degree in music therapy at the "Hogeschool Arnhem & Nijmegen" in 2000. After finishing, she decided to study recorder at the renowned Royal Conservatoire in The Hague with Reine-Marie Verhagen, and barokviolin with Rachael Beesley as second subject. In 2004 she earned her bachelor as well as an additional teachers' degree. Susanne has attended masterclasses with e.g. Peter van Heyghen, Gerd Lünenburger, Sébastien Marq and Kees Boeke.
Always, her main interest and affection went into playing chamber music. With the CMDH she plays recorder and viola. With her international recorder consort "Pipelife" she will record their first CD in 2008. Both groups tour in The Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland and Austria regularly. Susanne lives and works in The Hague at the moment, teaching recorder, working as a music therapist and playing freelance with different orchestras. |
