They were followed by Collegium Musicum Den Haag (...) and its conductor Claudio Ribeiro giving their debut in this location; the ensemble was set up by former students of the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague and is Bernhard Trebuch's latest discovery, also to be heard on the 100th title ("L'europe réunie") in ORF's early music CD series. The guests from the Netherlands presented a colourful programme of instrumental movements and arias by Handel. By the time they came to a blazing "Disserratevi, o porte d'averno" from La Resurrezione, both the orchestra and Esther Ebbinge, a young soprano in strong form, had well earned their first credits in Vienna.
